Toshiba Laptop Might Be Dying. Posted: 02 Dec 2011 08:08 AM PST I'm a little worried about my wee little Toshiba laptop. The fan started running a couple days ago once I turn on the computer, and won't stop. Sure when the laptop gets warm the fan is suppose to turn on. Why does it happen when it's not hot? Virus? Bios updated needed? About to bite the dust? I'm buying a laptop airflow thingy after work to ensure it's getting the proper airflow and staying cool etc. I've had this computer 5-6 years and never had a problem. It's home is currently on an end table. Never on the couch or bed or anything soft. I'll try and see the if the IT If that turns out to be the case.... what to get? My last comp was a 17" dual core HP. This one is only 13" and apparently more powerful than my last one.... that might have been the case 5-6 years ago. To switch to Mac or not? hmmmmm. Any Mac users out there? I would love your un-bias input. Mac users are very much like Volkswagen drivers. You either love or hate them. There is no grey area. Okay blog-o-sphere family send me your input, your knowledge and anything else that will help me with the pending new purchase. Has to be a laptop btw, as I'm limited for space as to where I can put a computer. |
